Urgent projects: exciting, profitable, and just a bit scary

There are days when silence in your inbox suddenly shifts to: “We’ve got a 100,000-word translation due yesterday. Can you take it?”

At such moments, any manager’s heart starts beating faster. On the one hand, what a great opportunity. A large, urgent project is always a challenge, a rush of adrenaline, and, let’s admit it, solid turnover.

But on the other hand, it’s a high-complexity task, requiring you to:

  • assemble a team at lightning speed,
  • distribute the workload without burning anyone out,
  • avoid mistakes, because there’s no time to fix them later,

and still take care of our regular clients, who should never be affected. After all, our returning customers aren’t just about stability. They are our colleagues, partners, and often friends – the very foundation and the essence of our business.

That’s why at KLS, even in high-pressure situations, we don’t panic.

Instead, we follow predefined workflows, implement resilience across teams, and resist the temptation to do everything at once, focusing rather on clear planning at every stage. At the same time, we never forget that quality requires time that cannot be reduced endlessly.

These kinds of projects are a real stress test for any business.

And we are proud to say we pass it every time – staying true to who we are, how we work, and who we work for.
