A guest workshop by KLS interpreters for students of Kyiv International University

More and more professionals talk about the importance of giving back to the industry.
At KLS, we live this principle by actively supporting future translators and sharing what we’ve learned.

One example: a recent online workshop hosted by two of our in-house linguists for students of the Institute of Linguistics at Kyiv International University.

The initiative came from the university — and we were glad to support it.
Voluntarily, outside working hours, without any marketing goal.
Just our small contribution to the future of the profession.

Ayuna Byvaltseva spoke about media translation, terminology, and the challenges of adapting content.
Yaroslava Lukina generously shared her experience in simultaneous interpretation — from technical setups to staying calm under pressure.

The format was a live Zoom session, built as a dialogue. Students asked in-depth questions and received practical advice.
