Case study: interpreting at a public event

This case illustrates how interpretation becomes part of a broader social dialogue.
For the NGO “Foundation The Day After”, we provided simultaneous interpretation for a conference dedicated to gender equality, civic participation, and peacebuilding in the context of post-war recovery.

The event took place at Osvitoria Hub in Kyiv.
The format included public discussions, presentations, and keynote speeches.
Interpretation was provided in both directions: from English into Ukrainian and vice versa.

Two simultaneous interpreters worked on site, supported by KLS’s engineering team, who delivered full technical coverage: headsets with receivers, a tabletop interpreter booth, speakers, microphones, and on-site technical support.
Everything worked flawlessly — no delays, no interruptions, no compromise in sound quality.
