How to organize simultaneous interpretation into multiple languages
When it comes to multilingual simultaneous interpretation, there’s no magic involved and the process is not as complicated as it may seem.
All you need is the right number of qualified interpreters, each working from the source language (the speaker’s language) into a target language for their specific audience.
Participants simply select the appropriate language channel - in other words, their preferred language and receive the interpretation in real time.
If it’s a standard conference without audience questions or active discussions, the setup is quite straightforward.
However, if interaction between participants is planned, a relay interpretation setup is required.
We’ll cover this topic in more detail in one of our upcoming posts.
